For Assistant Professor : Recognized veterinary qualification included in the first and second schedule in Indian Veterinary Council Act 1984 & must be registered with a State Veterinary Council/Veterinary Council of India. and B.V.Sc. & A.H. with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale and Master degree in the concerned discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed with consistently good academic record and the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. OR Master’s Degree in any discipline with not less than 50% of marks and M.Ed. Degree in specific disability area i.e. V.I./H.I. with not less than 55% of marks or an equivalent grade of B+ in 10-point scale of UGC. OR An equivalent degree from a foreign university recognized by RCI.

OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). AND b) Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), to be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE.
